Team W Blue Lock is was the third team Team Z faced in the First Selection. They heavily relied on the aggressive, synchronized play of the Wanima twins and utilized dirty tactics to secure their position.
Background and Story of Team W
Team W is most infamous for conspiring with Wataru Kuon to throw the match against Team Z. Kuon provided Team W with all of Team Z's tactical secrets in exchange for being allowed to score a hat-trick. Using this stolen information, the Wanima twins relentlessly targeted Team Z's weak points. However, when Hyoma Chigiri finally overcame his fear of injury and unleashed his explosive speed, Team W was caught completely off guard, resulting in a dramatic draw.
